Michie Productions, a Venezuelan queer-owned business, was founded in Houston, TX, in 2020—a year that reminded us all of the power of genuine connection. We saw brilliant, minority owned businesses being overlooked or forced into boxes that didn't fit. We knew there was a better way.
We didn't want to be just another agency. We wanted to provide a creative sanctuary—a safe, supportive space where your brand’s true voice isn't just heard, but celebrated.

I’ve always believed that the most powerful brands are the most authentic—not the loudest.
My journey began in Venezuela, but I was raised right here in the heart of Houston. After graduating from the University of Houston with my BA in Media Production, I found myself at a standstill. As a queer, Venezuelan-born immigrant, I quickly grew tired of the "standard" corporate landscape. I was tired of working for businesses that didn’t share my values, and I was frustrated that there wasn’t a creative home for like-minded leaders.
I founded Michie Productions to be that sanctuary. Coming from a work culture that failed to curate a meaningful experience for both clients and employees, I wanted to build something different. My foundation is built on radical transparency and approachability.
Marketing associate jennifer martinez
As a Marketing Associate at Michie Productions, I help the company and our clients grow by mixing creativity with organized planning. I handle the content process, finding new ideas and trends, creating stories, designing creatives, scheduling content posts, and generating analytics reports for our client. On the business side, I take care of our clients from the very first meeting to their final onboarding. By keeping our schedules and workflows organized, I make sure every project runs smoothly and finishes on time.
